Zoe Helene“It would be difficult to fit the Cosmic Sister profile and not be an Eco-feminist. Many Cosmic Sisters are also Psychedelic Feminists, and where these two paths meet is our sweet spot.” - Zoe Helene, Psymposia

Cosmic Sister is an eco-feminist advocacy group that connects kindred-spirit women in mutually supportive ways, working collectively toward shared goals while enhancing the personal journey of each individual. Cosmic Sister promotes love, higher consciousness, abundance and creativity, and members pledge to hold each other’s best interests at heart as allies and affiliates. We are about #womensupportingwomen. We want to see women shine.

We envision a healthy, life-affirming balance of power between genders, worldwide. We envision a well world where women are fully respected globally, where their voices are heard and respected, and where a natural, healthy, life-affirming gender balance is restored. We believe that many of the world’s most critical problems are a result of a gross gender imbalance that has been sustained for thousands of years. We do not want our species to evolve in the direction we see the majority of human beings choosing, and we wish to be part of a global cultural shift that helps us evolve more rationally and with functioning minds, hearts and spirits with respect and love for other life-forms and the planet we all depend on to survive. We are passionate about helping to protect wilderness spaces and wildlife species that are currently in crisis or threatened.

By working collectively while respecting the journey of each individual, we have greater power to create a better way of life in which all parties truly thrive and to insure we leave behind a world worth inheriting.

We further our mission by:

  1. Promoting positive voices and the work of women who are members of Cosmic Sister and/or who fit the Cosmic Sister profile.
  2. Creating, pitching, placing and publishing high-quality educational materials promoting environmental sustainability, human and non-human rights, creative diversity and cultural preservation, the arts and sciences, mind/body/spirit wellness and more, with preference given to women who are members of Cosmic Sister and/or fit the Cosmic Sister profile.
  3. Promoting quality products and services that are sustainably produced, earth-friendly, animal-friendly, ethically produced, artisan-made, vintage recycled or repurposed, with preference given to women, women-owned businesses, or organizations led by women (but we do not exclude men). Preference is also given to women who are members of Cosmic Sister and/or fit the Cosmic Sister profile. Women whose work is selected to be showcased have an open invitation to join Cosmic Sister.
  4. Educating the public honestly about the importance and complexity of true sustainability and global trade, with special attention given to cultural exchange through sacred plant medicine traditions, informed mindful trade in fine Indigenous arts and medicinal plants to provide a positive, real-world model for supporting environmental diversity and cultural preservation, evolution and exchange.
  5. Educating the public honestly about the benefits and risks of (legal) intentional work with psychedelics, with a special focus on sacred plants (and fungi) such as ayahuasca, cannabis, peyote, iboga and psilocybin mushrooms, while promoting gratitude and respect for Indigenous wisdom.
  6. Educating the public honestly about the importance of human rights with a special focus on women and children’s rights and respect for Indigenous people.
  7. Educating the public honestly about the state of wilderness, wildlife and animal rights, with preference given to promoting women's expert voices on the frontline.
  8. Developing and publishing educational materials that further the mission/vision.
  9. We honor men and boys as well as members of the LGBTQIA+ community who share our values and demonstrate outstanding work in support of our mission/vision.

Advocacy work is a core concept in our approach to supporting ethical evolution. We have several interconnected advocacy projects in place that help spread the word about good work being done by women (and occasionally men) around the world. Our advocacy work includes multiple projects that we've broken up into several main sub-sets, with plenty of cross-over and cross-pollination content. Please visit our ADVOCACY WORK page to learn more.

We are building a great Core Team and Expert Advisory Circle and have some powerful, talented women in place. If are interested in being part of our Expert Advisory Circle, please reach out!
