THE MICRODOSING MOVEMENT

“We are not here for BS. We are here to educate the masses on the medicinal and overall life value off cannabis, psychedelics, and other plant medicines.”

Veronica “Vee” Castillo (@v2_traveling_veg_canna_writer), received a merit-based Cosmic Sister Special Talent Scholarship to participate in the 6-week online course, “The Microdosing Movement,” organized by Cosmic Sister Danielle Negrin, executive director of the San Francisco Psychedelic Society (@psychedelicsocietysf).

Based in Las Vegas, NV, Vee is a travel writer who advocates for cannabis, psychedelic plant medicines, and vegan lifestyle choices through media outlets such as Leafly, Herbage Magazine, Oklahoma Chronic Magazine, Vegas Cannabis Magazine and The Fresh Toast. “After cannabis cured me of chronic migraines (with vertigo!), I made a promise to cannabis that I would spend my life telling people the truth, to help free cannabis from lies around the globe,” she says.

Vee leads a “street team” of “very vocal and passionate” cannabis writers who cover travel, minorities in cannabis and psychedelics, Black Lives Matter, veganism, and all things cannabis, including issues that other publications are afraid to discuss. “We are not here for BS,” she says, “We are here to educate the masses on the medicinal and overall life value off cannabis, psychedelics, and other plant medicines.”

Describing herself as “a girl from the South with a dream to explore” who will not be “confined to the boxes of society,” Vee writes about what she loves: nature, travel, cannabis and other psychedelic medicines, and plant-based health. She educates, informs, and inspires people to think outside of societal norms.

“I’m a resident of the road,” she says, “on a mission to remove stigmas surrounding cannabis and psychedelic medicines, educate at least one person a day on the power of plant medicine and diet, and inform my readers about what’s coming, what’s happening, and what impacts them in the plant medicines/psychedelic space: new products, vegan brands, minorities in cannabis and veganism, psychedelic legalization, and so much more.”

Veronica has a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership from Indiana Institute of Technology.
